Dream Loxley Dream Loxley, Chatelaine of Windstorm Castle and beloved wife to Robin of Loxley. She proudly wears those tags and lives comfortably within the Castle, surrounded by family and friends, although life was not always as pleasing for her.
She was born to kind and loving parents who farmed the land in Northumberland, only to become separated from them when evil Vikings attacked and killed her Mother. Brought up by strangers until such times that she was told of her true identity she still bears the scars deep within her of the beatings and relentless hard work that had become a way of life to her.
Eventually at the age of 15, she was prompted by the woman who loved her as her own, to seek her true Father and find a life away from the beatings. Having little to go on, only memories from the villagers, she travelled under the guise of a young lad and made her way to the Monks at Lindisfarne, where she stayed for nearly 2 years, whilst a search was mounted for the one now known as Brother Archibald.
During those times, she learned the skills of reading and writing, and would often help to illustrate the books that the monks worked upon. She sewed, cooked and cleaned as she had done so before, but this time, with love and kindness, and with no fear of a beating for her efforts. Eventually the time came for her to travel again as word had come that her Father was alive and well still, and preaching in the South West of England.
Travel was dangerous, and mostly done with the aid of Monks and good people of the church, until she was but a few weeks away from Windstorm, alone and sheltering upon the moors of Bodmin. Tragedy struck her in the form of raiders, brutally raping and beating her for the money the Monks had bestowed upon her and leaving her for dead. Mercifully she still, to this day, has no real memory of the attack.
The passing travellers who cared for her and helped her through the terrible ordeal, never told her of the one man they found laying beside her, a single stab wound deep in his groin having been fatal and perhaps his just deserts.
Her memory lost, through the shock and severe beating, she spent some time recovering and living within the safety of their caravans, learning of their lives and growing very fond of them all. As kindness and patience was shown, fragments of memories slowly returned and she eventually arrived at Windstorm, drawn there by a deep rooted need but not actually discovering her Father until they both realised their strong bond was in fact that of family.
Dream Loxley has a warm heart and shows kindness and understanding to all she meets. She will never judge or show anger unless such is called for, and will always treat others as she would expect to be treated.
Her love for her husband is evident, and she adores her Father. Life, for now is a happy and contented one, much deserved for the pain and suffering she knew as a child.
Eventually Robin and Dream Loxley were gifted the precious baby girl they had both thought never to have. Ellissia Faith was born in the woodlands near the clearing where her beloved parents had spoken their vows of marriage to each other. The proud parents feeling their lives truly blessed now as they look to the future and all it shall bring forth.
